Per the Town Attorney: In view of Aluf’s submission of a new application to the Orangetown Zoning Board of Appeals (“ZBA”), requesting review of Aluf’s conformance to the Orangetown Zoning Code’s Performance Standards, and since, because of such submission, there is an automatic stay of the prosecution, pursuant to NYS Town Law §267-a(6), the People are advising the Court that, by reason of said statutory stay of enforcement, the subject cases should be adjourned by the Court to May 18, 2017 (Aluf’s application is anticipated to be heard on the May 3 ZBA agenda).
