This Workshop Meeting was opened at 8:00 p.m. Supervisor Stewart presided and the Deputy Clerk called the roll.

Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America was led by the Town Board.
Aric Gorton, Superintendent of Parks, Recreation & Building Maint. – O & R has clear cut trees along a section of the Rail Trail (DeLongis Court and Knight Court). This vegetation buffer needs to be replaced. Don Gabel made recommendations of what type of vegetation that can be planted, which follows O & R guidelines.
Blauvelt Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. presented their 2017 Budget.
James Dean, Superintendent of Highways, gave an update of the Route 340 Sidewalk Project and requested an extension to the contract for Construction Inspection Services.

RESOLUTION NO. 456 ENTERED WORKSHOP
Supervisor Stewart offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Troy and was unanimously adopted:
RESOLVED, at 8:00 p.m., the Town Board entered the Workshop to discuss and review Agenda item numbers 1 thru 26.

RESOLUTION NO. 457 ENTER EXECUTIVE SESSION LABOR NEGOTIATIONS
In attendance, at this Executive Session, were Supervisor Stewart, Councilpersons Troy, Valentine, and Bottari, John Edwards, Teresa Kenny, and Kevin Nulty.
Supervisor Stewart offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Valentine and was unanimously adopted:
RESOLVED, at 9:05 p.m. the Town Board entered Executive Session to discuss Labor negotiations. Supervisor Stewart said no further votes will be taken.

RESOLUTION NO. 458 RE-ENTERED WORKSHOP/ADJOURNED
Supervisor Stewart offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Bottari and was unanimously adopted:
RESOLVED, at 9:25 p.m., the Town Board re-entered the Workshop and adjourned this meeting.
