Andrew Andrews, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.

A motion was made to adjourn the meeting by Katie Beckmann

The Decisions on the above hearings, which Decisions are made by the Board before the conclusion of the meeting, are mailed to the applicant. The verbatim minutes are not transcribed, but are available. As there was no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 8:45 p.m.

RE: A.J.’s Kitchen Sign Plan: The application of
Douglas Faehndrich, applicant for Andrew Tannariello, owner, for the review of an Outdoor Seating Plan at a site known as “ A.J.’s Kitchen Sign Plan”, in accordance with Article 16 of the Town Law of the State of New York and Chapter 2 of the Code of the Town of Orangetown. The site is located at 17 North Main Street, Pearl River, Town of Orangetown, Rockland County, New York, and as shown on the Orangetown Tax Map as Section 68.16, Block 1, Lot 19 in the CS zoning district.
Heard by the Architecture and Community Appearance Board of Review of the Town of Orangetown at a meeting held Thursday, February 7, 2019, at which time the Board made the following determinations:
Douglas Faehndrick and Alex Servidio appeared and testified.
The Board received the following items:
- Photographs of the proposed sign, noting Gooseneck lighting above the sign, prepared by All Type Signs.
- Project Narrative.
- Material Specification Sheet.
- Survey plan prepared by Kier Levesque, R.A., last revised August 1, 2018.
- Copy of the Building Permit Referral dated January 11, 2019 prepared by
Rick Oliver, Building Inspector.
FINDINGS OF FACT:
- The Board found that the sign would be placed above the entry doorway, measuring 12’ by 2’-4.8”. The sign would be PVC, single sided, framed with wood, digital print laminated mounted to PVC. The sign would screw to the building front using lag bolts. The colors would be black, grey and white, as noted on the submitted plan.
- The Board found that the sign would be lit during business hours.
- The Board found that Gooseneck lights would be placed above the sign, as noted on the submitted plan. The light fixtures would be black and white LED lights.

The hearing was then opened to the Public. There being no one to be heard from the public, the Public Hearing portion of the meeting was closed.
DECISION: In view of the foregoing and the testimony before the Board, the application was Approved as Presented.

The site is located at 170 East Erie Street, Blauvelt, Town of Orangetown, Rockland County, New York, and as shown on the Orangetown Tax Map as Section 70.14, Block 4, Lot 10 in the CC zoning district.
Heard by the Architecture and Community Appearance Board of Review of the Town of Orangetown at a meeting held Thursday, February 7, 2019
at which time the Board made the following determinations:
Joanne Lent appeared and testified. The Board received the following items:
- Material Specification Sheet submitted by Signarama.
- Sign Plans prepared by Bergen Sign Company, dated October 24, 2018.
- Copy of the Building Permit Referral dated November 20, 2018 prepared by Rick Oliver, Building Inspector.
FINDINGS OF FACT:
- The Board found that the sign measures 48” by 108”. The applicant is changing the face of an existing single sided cabinet. The sign would be faced with white acrylic push through copy as the logo; colors would be a field of white with blue logo and lettering, as noted on the submitted plan.
