POLICE COMMISSION
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2014
This Police Commission Meeting was opened at 7:00 p.m. Supervisor Stewart presided and the Town Clerk called the roll.

Anthony Bevelacqua led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
RESOLUTION NO. 79 PROMOTE/MICHAEL T DAVIN POLICE LIEUTENANT
Supervisor Stewart offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Valentine and was unanimously adopted:
RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the Chief of Police, Michael T. Davin is hereby promoted to Police Lieutenant/Town of Orangetown, from Rockland County Civil Service List # 11115/70-502, effective February 5, 2014, at a salary consistent with the labor agreement between the Town of Orangetown and Orangetown PBA.

RESOLUTION NO. 80 PROMOTE/JAMES SULLIVAN DETECTIVE SERGEANT
Supervisor Stewart offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Valentine and was unanimously adopted:
RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the Chief of Police, James Sullivan is hereby detailed to Detective Sergeant duties with assignments to include patrol, youth, administrative and internal affairs investigations, effective February 5, 2014, at a salary consistent with the labor agreement between the Town of Orangetown and Orangetown PBA.

RESOLUTION NO. 81 PROMOTE/MICHAEL SHANNON DETECTIVE SERGEANT
Supervisor Stewart offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Valentine and was unanimously adopted:
RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the Chief of Police, Michael Shannon is hereby detailed to Detective Sergeant duties with assignments to include patrol, administrative and internal affairs investigations, effective February 5, 2014, at a salary consistent with the labor agreement between the Town of Orangetown and Orangetown PBA.

RESOLUTION NO. 82 PROMOTE/KIRK G VEGA POLICE SERGEANT
Supervisor Stewart offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Valentine and was unanimously adopted:
RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the Chief of Police, Kirk G Vega, is hereby promoted to the position of Police Sergeant/Town of Orangetown, from Rockland County Civil Service List # 13041/72-028, effective February 5, 2014, at a salary consistent with the labor agreement between the Town of Orangetown and Orangetown PBA.

RESOLUTION NO. 83 PROMOTE/JAMES E ACHESON POLICE SERGEANT
Supervisor Stewart offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Valentine and was unanimously adopted:
RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the Chief of Police, James E. Acheson, is hereby promoted to the position of Police Sergeant/Town of Orangetown, from Rockland County Civil Service List # 13041/72-028, effective February 5, 2014, at a salary consistent with the labor agreement between the Town of Orangetown and Orangetown PBA.

RESOLUTION NO. 84 YOUTH COURT GRADUATION
Supervisor Stewart offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Valentine and was unanimously adopted:
RESOLVED, that the Town Board attend the Youth Court Graduation, from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

RESOLUTION NO. 85 ENTERED WORKSHOP/ADJOURNED
Councilman Troy offered the following resolution, which was seconded by Councilman Diviny and was unanimously adopted:
RESOLVED, that the Town Board entered the Workshop Meeting at 8:25 p.m. and adjourned at 10:03 p.m.
