TOWN OF ORANGETOWN ARCHITECTURE AND COMMUNITY APPEARANCE
BOARD OF REVIEW – MEETING OF MAY 20, 2010
MEMBERS PRESENT: Jack Messina, Chairperson; James Dodge; Vice Chairperson Larry Vail; Michael Bosco; Jill Fieldstein; Paul Papay
MEMBER ABSENT: Dan Sherman
ALSO PRESENT: Barbara Gionta, Deputy Town Attorney; Ann Marie Ambrose, Stenographer and Gina Raymond, Clerk
Jack Messina, Chairperson called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Messina read the agenda. Hearings as listed on this meeting’s agenda which are made a part of these minutes were held as noted below.
Aqua Terra Grille Plans Continued: Submit ACABOR #10-21
Review of Patio Plans Landscaping and Lighting
69.05/1/11, CO zoning district Plans
Other Business: Can-Am Development Corp. requested an amendment to the Façade Materials of ACABOR #08-21; 77.16/1/20.14, Lauren Road, Palisades. The applicant, George Alatsas, requested that the porch and foundation be covered with stucco rather than the original proposed concrete material and that the front façade around the front entry doorway be covered in cultured stone instead of vinyl siding, an option offered in ACABOR #08-21. The Board reviewed and approved the requests of the applicant:
– The foundation and the front stairway shall be faced in grey colored stucco. The manufacturer is M & P.
– On the front façade, the area around the entry doorway shall be faced with cultured stone in Monicito Cliff Stone (Natural tones), manufactured by El Dorado.
– The Garage Doors shall be white in color.
A motion was made to adjourn the meeting by Larry Vail and seconded by James Dodge and agreed by all in attendance. The Decisions on the above hearings, which Decisions are made by the Board before the conclusion of the meeting and are mailed to the applicant. The verbatim minutes are not transcribed, but are available. As there was no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 9:15 p.m. The next ACABOR Meeting is scheduled for June 3, 2010.
