NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Resolution of the Town Board of the Town of Orangetown, duly adopted at a meeting held on October 22, 2019, a Public Hearing will be held before the Town Board on the 3rd day of December, 2019, 7:45 P.M., at Town Hall, 26 W. Orangeburg Rd., Orangeburg, New York 10962, to consider the adoption of a Local Law, amending Chapter 12 of the Town Code of the Town of Orangetown, entitled Historic Areas; the purpose and intent of which proposed Local Law is to adopt amendments to Chapter 12’s existing provisions so as to improve the regulations governing the appearance, design and aesthetics of buildings and structures within the Historical Areas.

A copy of the proposed Local Law may be examined by any interested party at the Office of the Town Clerk, and is also accessible for review on the Town of Orangetown’s website at www.Orangetown.com.

At the time of the hearing, all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard.
