Dog Park Location: Veterans Memorial Park, 81 Hunt Rd, Orangeburg, New York
Dog Park Rules:
- Hours of operation: Sunrise to Sunset.
- Dog Park area is for use by Orangetown residents ONLY. NO guests permitted.
- Dogs are allowed off-leash within fenced area only. Owners must carry leash at all times.
- All dogs must have current rabies and other vaccines as required by local law and wear a visible license. No puppies under six months of age.
- Residency and dog license checks will occur.
- No more than two dogs per owner.
- Do not leave your dog unattended in the dog park.
- Dogs showing aggression or have a history of aggressive behavior towards people or other animals will not be permitted to use the facility.
- Gates to the dog park must remain closed at all times.
- Please clean up after your dog.
- No sick dogs.
- Dogs that have not been spayed/neutered are not permitted in the park.
- No human food permitted inside dog park. No glass containers.
- No spike or choke collars.
- Children under 14 not permitted inside dog park unless accompanied by an adult.
- Use of dog park is at your own risk. Dog owners are solely liable for their dog’s actions.
- Any items left behind, such as water bowls, balls, toys, etc., will be discarded.
- No professional dog training or dog walkers.

Violators will be subject to removal from the park and suspension of park privileges.
