Dennis Troy was born and raised in the Fordham section of the Bronx. He attended Our Lady of Mercy Grammar School, St. Nicholas of Tolentine High School, Manhattan College (BS in Mathematics), Iona College (MBA in Management Information Systems), Iona College (Post Masters Certificate in Finance) and George Washington University (Masters Certificate in Project Management). Also accumulated credits at Lehman, Yeshiva and NYU.
Denis has been married to his wife Beatrice (Rogers) for 42 years. Bea and Denis have lived in Pearl River for over 34 years. They are the proud parents of Kathleen who lives with her husband Glenn in Upper Grandview and grand daughters Sera and Reilly; Michael, who lives with his wife Jennifer in Pearl River and grand daughters Kaitlyn and Julia; Daniel and his wife Kristen who live in Tappan and grand daughter Madelyn and grand son Brendan; and Patrick, a graduate of Siena College
