NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to resolution of the Town Board of the Town of Orangetown, duly adopted at a meeting held on September 17, 2019, a public hearing will be held before the Town Board, on the 1st day of October, 2019, at 7:45 P.M., at Town Hall, 26 Orangeburg Rd., Orangeburg, New York 10962, to consider the adoption of a local law, amending the Town Code of the Town of Orangetown, Chapter 43, entitled “Zoning”, Article IV. The Town Board will consider a law permitting the Town Board discretion when considering an application for rezoning a property to a Planned Adult Community (PAC) floating zone pursuant to Section 4.6, to modify lot and bulk controls for minimum lot area, maximum floor area ratio and maximum density by a majority vote plus one, in eligible sites within a CS (Community Shopping) zoning district.
A copy of the proposed Local Law may be examined by any interested party at the Office of the Town Clerk and is available on the Town of Orangetown website at Orangetown.com.
At the time of the hearing, all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard.
