The ponds at Veteran’s Memorial Park are tested daily during the winter for ice thickness to be sure conditions are safe for skating. The ponds are currently RED FLAGGED and unsafe for skating. A reminder that a GREEN flag means conditions are SAFE to skate and a RED flag means conditions are UNSAFE for skating. Please make sure to check the signs and flags before going on the ice.
